William Kanto (12-27-13) services 1-3-14

William Edward Kanto, 74, died Friday, Dec. 27, at his residence. He was the son of the late Peter J. and Eva Kanto. He was united in marriage to Dorothy J. Stewart Kanto.

Mr. Kanto was formerly employed with Woodward & Lothrop.

In addition to his wife, he  is survived by two daughters, Karen D. Watson of Tampa, Fla. and Lisa K. Williams of Fuquay Varina, N.C.; a sister, Kathleen Jenkins of Marietta, Ga.; and six grandchildren. Graveside services will be held on Friday, Jan. 3, at White Sulphur Cemetery at Pickwick Dam.
