Wallace Franklin Rich, 90, of Savannah, died Thursday, Feb. 13, in Savannah. He was born in Hardin County, son of the late James Benny and Lantie Reed Rich. He was united in marriage to Onita Hudson, who survives.

Mr. Rich served his country in the United States Navy as a naval-armed guard.

He was a self-employed mechanic at Wallace’s Garage and owned Rich’s Sawmill. He was a member of the American Legion. He attended First Assembly of God in Savannah.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Roy Rich of Adamsville and Rita Rich West of Memphis; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and two step great-grandchildren; a sister, Christine Allison of Savannah and a brother, Tommy G. Rich of Savannah.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, James Duel Rich.

Services were held Sunday, Feb. 16, in Savannah with Todd Alexander officiating. Burial followed at Mount Hermon Cemetery in Hardin County.
