Virginia Riddell Virginia Haynes Riddell, 95, of Savannah, died Saturday, Oct. 22. She was born in Hardin County, the daughter of the late James F. and Lucille Walker Haynes. She was united in marriage to Bill Riddell, who preceded her in death. Mrs. Riddell was the retired owner of Piggly Wiggly. She was a member of the East End United Methodist Church. A graveside service was held on Oct. 23, at the Memory Gardens in Savannah with Rev. Randy Isbell officiating. She is survived by her grandson; three great-grandchildren, all of Savannah. She was also preceded in death by her son, David Riddell; a grandson; sisters, Sarah Carroll and Nita Harrison; brother, Dr. Burr Haynes.
