T.R. Allison T.R. Allison was born in Savannah, on Aug. 26, 1921, the son of the late Harve and Lula Briley Allison. On Sept. 7, 1946, he was united in marriage to Thelma Christine Rich, who survives. Mr. Allison was a United States Army Veteran. He retired from Brown Shoe Company. Mr. Allison was a member of the Disabled American Veterans. He departed this life on Monday, Sept. 5, in Savannah, at the age of 90 years and 10 days. In addition to his wife Thelma Christine of Savannah, he is survived by two sons, Harvey Allison and wife Nell of Savannah, and Eric Allison and wife Brenda of Strawberry Plains, Tenn.; two grandchildren, Shane Allison and wife Kim and Amy Johnson and husband Justin; three great-grandchildren, Shelby Allison, Peyton Porter and Abby Johnson. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by one grandchild, Shannon Allison; six sisters, Daisy Copeland, Callie Hubbard, Bulah Clement, Fanny Cook, Lizzie Ingle and Mable Allison. Services will be held on Thursday, Sept. 8, at 11 a.m., at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Larry Paul Rich officiating. Burial will follow in the Memory Gardens at Savannah.
