Tess Jobe Thressia Ann "Tess" Barnes Jobe, 76, of Pickwick Dam, died Monday, Feb. 1, at her residence. She was born in Iuka, Miss., the daughter of Dewey Bryson and Thunia Cole Barnes. She was united in marriage to Marcus "Buddy" Jobe, who preceded his wife in death. Mrs. Jobe was a retired restaurant owner. She was a member of Pisgah United Methodist Church. Services were held on Wednesday, Feb. 3, 2010 at 11:00 AM at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah, Tennessee, with Dick Haley officiating. Burial will follow in the White Sulphur Cemetery at Pickwick Dam, Tennessee She is survived by one son, Brady Jobe of Pickwick Dam; and one daughter, Suzanne Wall of Corinth, Miss.; eight sisters, Bonnie Stahl of Corinth, Betty Johnson of Counce, Donna Hopkins of Corinth, Doris Willis of Oklahoma City, Okla., Cleda Rencher of Kossuth, Miss., Peggy Cooksey of Counce, Tommie Nell Barnes of Counce, and Pat Dexter of Iuka, Miss. She was also preceded in death by one sister, Kathryn Voyles.
