Steven “Steve” Gagyi (8-24-21) service 10-2-21

Steven “Steve” Jay Gagyi, 70, of Adamsville, died on Tuesday, Aug. 24.

He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, the son of the late Ernast J and Janet Louise Kern Gagyi. He was united in marriage to Patricia “Patti” Lynn Connor, who survives.

Mr. Gagyi was a tool and die machinist for Trico in Lexington, Southern Tooling in Lexington and Butcher Boy Machines, Inc in Selmer. He was a member at First Baptist Church in Adamsville.

He is survived by his wife, Patti Gagyi of Adamsville; sons, Christopher Gagyi and Derek Gagyi, both of Adamsville and Andrew Gagyi of Counce; eight grandchildren; sisters, Marcia Mowell of Cincinnati, Ohio, Donna Alexander of Frostproof, Florida; brother, Lee Gagyi of Downey, California; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Memorial services were held on Saturday, Oct. 2, at First Baptist Church in Adamsville.
