Stella Conner (2-1-19) service 2-5-19

Stella Roxanne Conner was born Sept. 13, 1962, in Ocala, Florida. She departed this life on Friday, Feb. 1, in Selmer at the age of 56 years, 4 months, 19 days.

Mrs. Conner was united in marriage to Joel Keith Conner on Nov. 22, 1986. Mr. Conner preceded her in death on Jan. 3, 2011.

She was a homemaker. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. Her favorite Bible verse was John 3:16, “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life”

She is survived by two daughters, Clara Conner and husband David of Selmer, Robin Conner and fiancé Bobby Bragg of Finger, Tennessee; a son, William Conner of Clifton; four grandchildren, Jacob Allen Conner, Hannah Nicole Conner, Jaxton William Ray Conner, Anadia Aleana Ann Conner; and a sister, Lynnette Greer.

Services were held on Tuesday, Feb 5, at 1 p.m. at Shackelford Funeral Directors in Selmer with Larry Cooksey officiating. Burial followed in New Harmony Baptist Church Cemetery in Savannah.
