Shelley Karen Ashe Turnbow, of Savannah, was born on April 29, 1962, in Savannah, the daughter of Doris and Robert Lee Ashe. She was previously married to Doug Turnbow.
Until becoming disabled, Shelley was a truck driver and a hairdresser. She was a member of Union Grove United Methodist Church. She also enjoyed judging beauty pageants and working in the yard.
Shelley departed this life on Wednesday, Aug. 23, at the age of 55 years.
She is survived by her daughter, Molly Cherry and husband Shayne Cherry of Henderson, Tennessee; a son, Chris Turnbow of Dickson, Tennessee; her mother, Doris Ashe of Stantonville, Tennessee; two sisters, Kim South and husband Roger, and Stephanie Brown and husband Johnnie; a brother, Greg Ashe and wife Tonya; a grandson, Jon Michael Cherry, and eight nieces and nephews.
Shelley was preceded in death by her father, Robert Lee Ashe; and a sister, Robbin Beth Ashe. Her grandparents were the late Jim and Cora Ashe and Allen and Reatha Garrison. 
Funeral services were held on Saturday, Aug. 26, at 2 p.m., at Union Grove United Methodist Church near Selmer with Roger South and Ashton Forsythe officiating. Burial followed in Union Grove Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Union Grove Cemetery Fund, C/O Doris Ashe, 85 Scove Lane, Stantonville, Tenn.  38379.
