Salvador Maravillas, 80, died Tuesday, July 22, in Corinth, Miss.
He was born in Harlingen, Texas, the son of the late Miguel and Juanita Martinez Maravillas. He was united in marriage to Conchie Figueroa, who survives.
Mr. Maravillas served his country in the United States Army. He worked for Illinois Tool works for 28 years. Mr. Maravillas was a member of Savannah First Assembly of God Church.
In addition to his wife Connie, he is survived by one son, Michael Stephen Maravillas of Lake in the Hills, Ill.; and one daughter, June Yvette Maravillas Westheim of East Tawas, Mich.; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and four brothers, Juan, Frank (Pancho), David and Carlos.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Maria “Cuca” del Refugioleal; and three brothers, Tony, Mike and Daniel.
Memorial donations may be made to First Assembly of God Church in Savannah or to AG World Missions.
Services were held on Friday, July 25, at First Assembly Of God Church in Savannah with Jerry Milliken and Jim Westheim officiating.
