Russell Billy Sherron Jr. Russell Billy Sherron Jr. of Pickwick, was born May 30, 1955, and departed this life on April 12, at the age of 55 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Billy was a member of Full Gospel Fellowship Church in Selmer. He was a devoted father and grandfather; his children and grandchildren were his pride. Billy had a lust for life and enjoyed living in Pickwick on the Tennessee River where he spent all his spare time with his family. He was a retired truck driver from Auto Zone Corporation of Lexington and went by the CB handle of "plowboy." Billy is survived by his children, daughter Wendy Akins (James Wagoner) of Adamsville; a son B.J. Sherron and wife Rebecca also of Adamsville; his grandchildren, Cydney Sherron, Cara Sherron, Zander Akins, Zach Wagoner, Steven Jordan, Colton Easter and Caleb Easter, all of Adamsville; two sisters, Dottie King and husband John and Dianne Sherron Harris of Selmer; a brother, Aubrey McElroy of Johnson City, Tenn.; a stepmother, Anne Sweat of Selmer; and a host of nieces and nephews who all loved him dearly. Billy is preceded in death by his parents, Russell Billy Sherron Sr. and Robbie Jean Stansell Sherron; and one sister, Rosie Sherron Salvucci. Services were held on Friday, April 15, at 1 p.m., at Shackelford Funeral Directors of Adamsville with David Pauser officiating. Burial followed in the Mt. Vinson Cemetery at Stantonville.
