Ruby Campbell

Ruby Campbell, 74, of Crump, died Thursday, Feb. 7.

She was born in Hardin County, the daughter of the late Dossie and Georgia Parrott.

Mrs. Campbell was united in marriage to Billy Ray Campbell. Together they owned and operated Bill & Ruby’s Cafe. Ruby was a member of Crump Pentecostal Church.

Services were held on Saturday, Feb. 9, at Crump United Pentecostal Church in Crump with Gene Hanna officiating. Burial followed in the Pisgah Cemetery at Shiloh.

She is survived by her sons, Dwight Campbell of Shiloh, Carl Campbell and Denny Parrott, both of Savannah; brother, Tommy Parrott of Corinth, Miss.; five grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Ray Campbell; daughter, Sandra Campbell; and sisters, Helen Ruth Jones, Polly White and Jane Harrison.
