Rosemary Louise Burkhead

Rosemary Louise Burkhead was born on December 22, 1939 in Hinsdale, Illinois, the daughter of the late Stephen and Ursula Baker. She was united in marriage to Franklin Thurmond Burkhead, who preceded his wife in death.
Rosemary was a devoted homemaker, who spent her formative years growing up in Downer’s Grove, Illinois, before moving to Tennessee over 30 years ago. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, and loved playing Skip-bo.
She departed this life on Monday, September 14, 2026 at her residence in Selmer, at the age of 86 years, 8 months, 24 days.
She is survived by: four daughters, Norma Heatherly, Kathleen Moss, Julie Fahey, Lauretta Grammer; four sons, Dennis, Steven, and Kurt Teiber, and Doug Hiatt; 18 grandchildren; 9 great-granchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Stephen Baker.
Services were held on Wednesday, September 16, 2026 at Associated Family Funeral Home in Adamsville.
