Ronny Whitlow

Ronny Whitlow was born in Florence, Ala., on Jan. 30, 1947, the son of the late Gus Hampton and Sarah Frances Killen Whitlow.

Ronny was a retired Certified Public Accountant. He had worked for Flozone in Adamsville, Tenn. for eight years and he had his own private practice with Williams and Whitlow. Ronny served his country in the United States Army. Ronny enjoyed reading, watching his grandchildren playing baseball, basketball and football. He would travel from Savannah to Paducah, Ky., to watch them play. Ronny would never miss a game.

Ronny also enjoyed going to church where he was a member of Riverview Baptist Church in Savannah.

He departed this life on June 18, in Savannah, at the age of 65 years, 4 months and 19 days.

Ronny is survived by two daughters, Tanya Rich of Savannah and Amy Crider of Paducah, Ky.; four grandchildren; two brothers, David Whitlow and Kenny Whitlow, both of Savannah.

Services were held on Wednesday, June 20, at 1 p.m., at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Mark LaRue, Larry Rich officiating. Burial followed in the Mount Hermon Cemetery at Hardin County.
