Roger Goings (1-30-14) service 2-1-14

Roger Dale Goings, 63, of Savannah, died Thursday, Jan. 30, in Savannah. He was born in Jacksonville, Fla., the son of Lavonia Evans Goings and the late Curtis Tillman Goings.

Roger served his country in the United States Navy.

He was an electrician and worked for Bridges Electrical Company. Roger was a member of Walnut Grove Church of Christ.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by two daughters, Stephania Goings and Teresa Goings, both of Ft. Pierce, Fla.; two grandchildren and a sister, Elaine Benson of Savannah.

Services were held Saturday, Feb. 1, in Savannah with David Dowdy and Keaton Franks officiating. Burial followed at Hollands Creek Cemetery in Hardin County.
