Rodney Brink Bowden, 46, of Savannah, departed this life on Monday, September 15. He was born in McNairy County, Tennessee, on August 14, 1979, the son of the late Roger Dale Bowden and Rachel Lynne Curtis Beam. Rodney had worked as a Chef. In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting, watching Tennessee football, arrowhead hunting, and collecting coins. His greatest joy was spending time with family and taking care of his NaNa. Rodney is survived by his children, Julia Kelsey Bowden (Nolan), Alexander Brinkley Bowden, Lauren Elisabeth Bowden, DeAndre Lee Brown, and Josie Lynne Bowden; grandchildren, Kieran Dean Hall and Violet Evelyn Hall; fiancee, Kelly Brown; grandmother, Jodie Curtis; siblings, Daphne Wilson (Greg), Tabitha Austin, Cody Bowden, Kennedy Bowden, Colby Bowden, Shannon Campbell, Kylie Beam, and Mason Bowden; nieces, Kourtnie Trapp, Andrea Bullard, and Emily Melson; and a host of extended family and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Brink Curtis, Jamie Bowden, and Helen Bowden; and nephew, Dustin Tyler Wilson. Services were held on Wednesday, September 24, at Shackelford Funeral Directors of Savannah, with Brent Colley officiating. Burial followed at Savannah Cemetery in Savannah, Tennessee.
