Robert "Bob" Gann

Robert "Bob" Gann, 76, of Savannah, died Monday, Oct. 17, in Savannah.

He was born in Hardin County, the son of the late James Benton and Lyda Gusta Franks Gann. He was united in marriage to Sandra Yvonne Whipple, who survives.

Mr. Gann was a self-employed carpet cleaner.

Services will be held on Friday, Oct. 21, at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Artie Rivers officiating. Burial will follow in the Neill Cemetery at Savannah.

In addition to his wife, Sandra of Savannah, he is survived by one son, Randall Gann of Dallas, Ga.; two daughters, Robin Russo of McKinney, Texas and Rhonda Curtis of Bay Point, Calif.; three step-daughters, Koren Logan of Oakley, Calif., Michelle Gabriel of Livermore, Calif., and Regina Palidino of Tracy, Calif.; 14 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren; one sister, Shirley Eades of Oceola, Ind.; two brothers, Jesse and Melvin Gann, both of Florence, Ala.

He was also preceded in death by one sister, Marie Seals; and two brothers, Willie Ray Gann and L.B. Gann.
