Rebecca Gail Mitchell Nguyen, 59, of Morris Chapel, passed away on Saturday, Aug. 9, the daughter of the late Wallace and Luley Sue Mitchell.
Rebecca worked in the past at Park Rest Nursing Home, Parris South Elementary School as a custodian and drove a school bus for many years for Hardin County School System. For the last several years, she enjoyed being a homemaker.
Rebecca is survived by her children, Bryan Nguyen and Brenton Nguyen; three grandchildren; brothers, Dennis Mitchell, Ronald Mitchell, Jeff Mitchell, and Jonathan Mitchell; and significant other, Tommy Nixon.
Memorial services were held on Wednesday, Aug. 13, at Shackelford Funeral Directors in Savannah, with Rannie Moore officiating. Burial followed at Wilkerson Cemetery in Savannah.
