Raymond Leon Roach, 81, of Adamsville died Friday, March 14. He was born in Decatur County, the son of the late Clovis “Britt” and Leslie Roach. He was united in marriage to Peggy Owens who survives.
Mr. Roach retired from Kolpak Manufacturing Company in Selmer. He was a member of Faith Pointe Church in Adamsville.
In addition to his wife he is survived by; two sisters, Sue Rainey of Milledgeville and Imogene Landers of Sikeston, Mo.; five children, Mike Roach of Fairfield, Okla., Debbie Scruggs of Liberal, Kan., Rickie Roach of Byhalia, Miss., Gary Roach of Cincinnati, Ohio and Jimmy Roach of Pickwick Dam; an adopted daughter Carrie (Roach) Millsap; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and five children.
Graveside services were held Monday, March 17, at Adamsville Cemetery with Scott Melson and Steven Moore officiating. Shackelford Funeral Directors of Selmer was in charge of arrangements.
