Patricia Huggins

Patricia Huggins, of Florence, Ala., was born April 19, 1956, in Heidelburg, Germany, the daughter of Christa Ell and the late Tommy J. Baker.

Patricia was a retired bankteller and she had worked at Wal-Mart. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Crump. She had a kind and gentle spirit, she loved being with her family, church family and friends. Once you met her, you knew she was your friend. In her free time she enjoyed sewing, cross stitching, antique shopping, and loved getting a bargain.

Patricia departed this life on Monday, Oct. 11, in Sheffield, Ala., at the age of 54 years, 5 months, 22 days.

She is survived by her mother, Christa Baker of Savannah; two daughters, Melisa Powers and husband Patrick Spieth of Nashville, Kim Gray and husband Johnathan of Florence, Ala.; two step-daughters, Ginger Joslin and husband Kirk of Newbern, Tenn., and Kerri Gallimore and husband Kyle of Union City, Tenn.; grandchildren, Lucas Ray Wilt of Blacksburg, Va., and Parker Reece Gray of Florence, Ala., Karli Shay Joslin and Cannon Kirk Joslin, both of Newbern, Tenn. and Kaden Hunter Gallimore of Union City, Tenn.

In addition to her father, Patricia was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Freeman Huggins.

Services were held on Thursday, Oct. 14, at 1 p.m., at First Baptist Church, Crump, with Eric Jones officiating.
