O.C. Stricklin, 81, of Savannah, died on Thursday, May 24, in Savannah.
He was born in Savannah, the son of the late William Ledford and Flora Angeline Franks Stricklin. He was united in marriage to Emma Lois Vickery, who preceded him in death.
Mr. Stricklin was a retired life-long farmer and served his country in the National Guard.
He is survived by his children, Randy Stricklin, Terry Stricklin and Carol Stricklin King, all of Savannah; two grandchildren; one sister, Lorene Franks of Savannah and one brother, George Stricklin of Cypress Inn, Tennessee.
In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Billy, Bobby Joe and John Henry Stricklin; and six sisters, Inez Stricklin, Margaret Stricklin, Pearl Hughes, Gladys Robbins, Polly Franks and Betty Stricklin.
Services were held on Saturday, May 26, at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Daniel Holt officiating. Burial followed in Forest Ridge Cemetery at Savannah.
