Norman Wesley Harris, 100, of Savannah, passed away on Saturday, Aug. 31, the son of the late William and Mayme Douglas Harris.
He was united in marriage to Pauline Sluka, who preceded her husband in death.
Mr. Harris honorably served his country in the U.S. Navy during World War II, He later worked as a plumbing inspector for the City of Detroit, Michigan.
He is survived by his daughter, Carlene Harvath Rogers; sister, Dolores Hester; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
In addition to his wife and parents, Norman was preceded in death by his sister, Nelda Harris; and brothers, Samuel Weldon and Stanley Eldon.
