Norma Jean Bailey Norma Jean Bailey, 82, of Lexington, Tenn., passed away on Friday, May 21, at Hardin County Medical Center in Savannah, after an extended illness. She was a native and life-long resident of Henderson County. Mrs. Bailey was a member of the First Baptist Church in Lexington, a member of the Eastern Star, and an animal rights advocate. She is survived by two daughters, Vickie Bailey Blount of Savannah and Wanda Bailey Lewis of Marietta, Ga.; two granddaughters, Jill Blount-Clark of Manchester, Tenn., and Jennifer Lewis Priestly of Atlanta, Ga.; three great-grandchildren, Madison Bayless of Knoxville, Cate Priestly of Atlanta, Chap Priestly of Atlanta; and one brother, Aulsie W. Rogers Jr. of Athens, Tenn. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Bailey was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Nicole Lewis Bayless. A graveside service was held on Saturday, May 22, at the Barren Springs Cemetery in Reagan, Tenn., with Lewis Harrington officiating.
