Mozella Clifton Mozella Marie Clifton, 81, of Savannah, died Monday, March 5. She was born in Pocahontas, Tenn., the daughter of the late Willie and Rosie Mullens Shannon. She was united in marriage to Roger Hugh Clifton, who preceded her in death. Mrs. Clifton was a member of the Nixon First Pentecostal Church. Services were held on Wednesday, March 7, at Nixon First Pentecostal Church in Savannah with John Robinson, Ricky Mitchell officiating. Burial followed in the New Bethel Cemetery at Middleton, Tenn. She is survived by five daughters, Margie Wilbanks of Byhalia, Miss., Sue Nell Hodge, Debra Briley, Glenda Sullivan, and Sandra Scott, all of Savannah; seven sons, Harry of Middleton, Tenn., Bobby of Savannah, Dale of Pocahontas, Tenn., Claude of Corinth, Miss., James of Ramer, Joe of Walnut, Miss., and Shane Clifton of Middleton, Tenn.; 23 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; a sister Humpey and a brother, T. Shannon, both of Texas. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Rose Clifton; three grandchildren; a sister, Mildred; two brothers, Clyde Nabors and Gene Shannon.
