Michael Ray Hulen
Michael Ray Hulen departed this life on Thursday, Jan. 3, at the age of 56 years, 6 months, 10 days.
Michael was born in Savannah, on June 24, 1956, the son of Jerry Ann Hulen-Young and the late Charles Ray (Fisher) Hulen. He was employed with Lowe’s in Savannah as a lift operator and had previously been employed as a supervisor for Angelica Uniform Company. Michael was a Master Mason with the Savannah Lodge 102, F&AM, and a York Rite Mason. He was an avid sportsman, who loved fishing, squirrel and rabbit hunting, and loved his Beagles.
He is survived by his son, Jeremy Hulen and his wife Misty of Savannah; mother, Jerry Ann Hulen-Young of Savannah; grandson, Billy Fisher Hulen; and special friend and cousin, Jimmy L. Crotts of Hendersonville, Tenn.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his stepfather, Lewis Young.
Services were held on Saturday, Jan. 5, at 11 a.m., at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Wayne Thompson, Tony Polk, and Paul Weaver officiating. Burial followed in the Neill Cemetery at Savannah.
