Merlene Sheets (5-25-14) service 5-30-14

Merlene Sheets, 82, of Morris Chapel, died Sunday, May 25, in Morris Chapel. She was born in Truman, Ark., the daughter of the late Lloyd Clifford and Elsie Mae Adams Wadlington. She was united in marriage to Chester Thomas Sheets Jr., who preceded her in death.

Mrs. Sheets retired from Burnham Glove Factory. She was a member of Free Methodist Church in Michigan City, Ind.

She is survived by a daughter, Beverly Bildhauser of Morris Chapel; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren and a brother, Ronald Wadlington of Michigan City, Ind.

In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by two children, Richard Sheets and Pamela Sheets; a great-grandchild and a sister, Pearl Mae Wadlington Mashburn.

Services will be held Friday, May 30, at noon at Free Methodist Church in Michigan City, Ind., with Wilke Jones officiating. Burial will follow at Swan Lake Memorial Gardens in Michigan City, Ind.
