Maynard Hornbuckle Maynard Hornbuckle, 79, of Stantonville, died Wednesday, Nov. 9, in Jackson, Tenn. He was born in McNairy County, the son of the late William Marlie and Zina Arizona Thacker Hornbuckle. He was united in marriage to Willia McKay Smith who survives. Mr. Hornbuckle was a heavy equipment operator. He was a member of the Stantonville Methodist Church. Services were held on Sunday, Nov. 13, at Stantonville Methodist Church with David Harstin officiating. Burial followed in the Stantonville Cemetery. He is survived by his wife Willia McKay Smith Hornbuckle of Stantonville, Tenn.; three sisters, Barbara Maxine Brandon of Huntingdon, Tenn., Jewel Frances Elam of Selmer and Mary Dee Flatt of Mt. Vinson, Tenn.; three brothers, Manford of Stantonville, Charlie Thomas of Selmer and Bobby Gene Hornbuckle of Purdy, Tenn.; as well as a host of nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Rachel Hornbuckle; a brother, Earnest Hornbuckle and a nephew.
