Maxine Yarbrough Maxine Dulaney Yarbrough, 88, of Counce, died Sunday, April 24. She was born in Hardin County, the daughter of the late Emery Thomas and Callie Parsons Massey. She was united in marriage to Kermit O. Dulaney, who preceded her in death. She later married C.A. Yarbrough, who also preceded her in death. Mrs. Yarbrough was a retired beautician and a member of the New Chapel Freewill Baptist Church. Services were held on April 26, at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Charles Linam, Paul Childers officiating. Burial was in the White Sulphur Cemetery at Pickwick Dam. She is survived by a stepson, Michael Yarbrough of Adamsville; two stepdaughters, Sheila Meeks and Cynthia Davis, both of Adamsville; four sisters, Lela Hubbard of Birmingham, Ala., Marzella Ellis of Navarre, Fla., Bobbie Pilsbury of New Orleans, La. and Billie Wheeler of Savannah; four step-grandchildren; five step-great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by a stepson, Kevin Yarbrough; a brother, Howard Massey; six sisters, Lorraine Rinks, Mamie MCbrayer, Amy Williams, Mary Franks, Anna Rae Massey and Inez Jaggers.
