Maude Cragg

Maude Hardin Cragg was born in Hardin County, on Sept. 20, 1912, the daughter of the late Gipson G. III and Della Allison Hardin.

On Nov. 27, 1947, she was united in marriage to John Cragg, who preceded her in death on May 5, 1988.

Mrs. Cragg was a member of the First Baptist Church of Savannah and the Home Demonstration Club.

Mrs. Cragg departed this life on Friday, July 8, 2011, at the age of 98 years, 9 months, 18 days.

She is survived by a host of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Tom Hassell Hardin, Glen Hardin, and Jack S. Hardin; sisters, Ruth Hardin Gillock, Edith Hardin Shull, and Mildred Hardin Bowling; half brothers, Charlie Hardin, Will Hardin, and Martin Hardin; half sister, Sally Hardin Brandon.

Services were held on Sunday, July 10, at 1:30 p.m., at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Eric Jones officiating. Burial followed in the Memory Gardens at Savannah.
