Mattie "Tootie" Eason (5-9-11) services 5-11-11

Mattie "Tootie" Eason, 65, of Shiloh, died Monday, May 9, in Savannah.

She was born in Tishomingo County, Miss., the daughter of the late Leslie Odel and Venia Hollands Edwards.

Ms. Eason was a member of South Shiloh Pentecostal Church.

Services were held on Wednesday, May 11, at Childers Hill Pentecostal Church in Counce with Paul Childers officiating. Burial will follow in the Cromwell South Shiloh Cemetery at Counce.

She is survived by two daughters, Tammy Eason of Shiloh and Sherry Matlock of Counce; three grandchildren; five sisters, Sally Ledgewood, Shirley Austin and Ruby Cornelius, all of Shiloh, Mary Stevens of Savannah and Myrtle Buckeridge of New Albany, Miss.; one brother, Joe Edwards of Jacks Creek, Tenn.

She was also preceded in death by one sister, Marie Edwards; and five brothers, Gene, James, Willie, Dewey and James Leslie Edwards.
