Mattie Franks (9-13-22) service 9-19-22

Mattie Dean Franks, 87, of Savannah, passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 13. She is the daughter of the late Richard and Elzie Wilson. She was united in marriage to JC Franks, who survives.

Mrs. Franks was a homemaker.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Jerry Franks, Billy Franks and Jana Davis; 12 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, James Kenneth Franks; and brothers, Gene Wilson and Billy Wilson.

Services were held on Monday, Sept. 19, at Shackelford Funeral Directors of Savannah, with Greg Worthy and Keith Holloway officiating. Burial followed at Campground Cemetery in Savannah.
