Mattie Brewer (6-2-20)

Mattie Ruth Brewer, 104, of Adamsville, died Tuesday, June 2.

She was born in McNairy County, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Howard and Eunice Greer Tanner. She was united in marriage to William Charles Brewer, who preceded her in death.

Mrs. Brewer worked for many years at Garan in Adamsville. She was a faithful member of the First United Methodist Church in Adamsville.

She is survived by her son, Randall Brewer, three grandchildren, three great grandchildren, one great great grandchild, and a host of relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents and husband of 64 years, she was preceded in death by two sons,  Billy and Tommy Brewer, and two grandchildren.

A Graveside Service was held on June 4, at the Mt. Vinson Cemetery in Stantonville, Tennessee, Amanda Westmoreland officiated. Memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church in Adamsville; PO Box 225; Adamsville, Tenn.  38310.
