Mary Stricklin Mary Ada Berry Stricklin, 92, of Waynesboro, died Wednesday, May 16, at Wayne County Nursing Home in Waynesboro. She was born to the late William Henry and Elsie Katherine Horton Berry. She was united in marriage to Jay William Stricklin, who preceded her in death. She was a retired employee of Clifton Manufacturing Company, and a member of the Collinwood Freewill Baptist Church. Services were Friday, May 18, at Shackelford Funeral Directors Chapel in Waynesboro with Tim Hanback and Bobby Pikckley officiating. Burial followed in Memorial Gardens at Collinwood with Shackelford Funeral Directors in charge of arrangements. She is survived by two daughters, Mary Joyce Stricklin Burks and Janice Stricklin Harris, both of Waynesboro; three grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren; three sisters, Anne Holt; Wyylodean Fite; Mable Cameron, all of Hohenwald, Tenn.; and one brother, James Henry Berry of Collinwood. She was also preceded in death by a grandson; two brothers, Johnnie Joe "Jab" Berry and Bonnie Earl Berry; and one sister Roxie Berry.
