Mary Lou Stricklin
Mary Lou Stricklin, 68, of Savannah, died Thursday, Jan. 31.
She was born in Rockford, Ill., to Morris Hubert Bancroft and Irene Tirnley Cook, who preceded her in death. She was united in marriage to Ernest Stricklin Jr., who preceded her in death.
Mrs. Stricklin was a member of New Life United Pentecostal Church in Savannah. Before moving to Hardin County, she worked for the Kerr Glass Manufacturing Company as a bottle inspector.
Services were held on Monday, Feb. 4, at New Life United Pentecostal Church in Savannah with Rev. Gerald Davis and Rev. Larry Adair officiating.
She is survived by three sons, David Zeigler of Savannah, Kenny and Ronnie Zeigler, both of Tulsa, Okla.; two stepsons, Terry G. Stricklin of Savannah and Gary Stricklin of Crump; one stepdaughter, Jennifer Bolin of Crump; two brothers, David Bancroft of Joliet, Ill., and Dennis Bancroft of Portland, Ore.; two sisters, Georgie White of Savannah and Tammy Timberlake of Seattle, Wash.; 12 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Tiffany Gwinn.
