Mary Lou Hatley Mary Lou Hatley, 67, of Savannah, died Wednesday, Jan. 19, at the Jackson Madison County General Hospital in Jackson, Tenn. She was born in Union County, Miss., the daughter of the late Roscoe and Evelyn Renfrow Edwards. She was united in marriage to James Lee Hatley, who survives. Mrs. Hatley assembled boat seats for Wise Company. She was a member of Southside Baptist Church. Services were held on Saturday, Jan. 22, at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Benny Taylor officiating. Burial was in the Memory Gardens at Savannah. In addition to her husband, James of Savannah, she is survived by one son, Steve Hunt of Savannah; and two daughters, Debbie Forsythe of Selmer and Tina Jones of Crump; 10 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; five sisters, Marie Baker of Greenville, Miss., Kathryn Allison of Ripley, Miss., Faye Carnell of New Albany, Miss., Mamie Ruth McCallen of Collierville, Tenn. and Carolyn Davis of Pontotoc, Miss.; three brothers, David of Iuka, Miss., Hugh of Booneville, Miss. and Jimmy Edwards of Etta, Miss. She was also preceded in death by one brother, Mike Edwards; and one sister, Marilyn Hunter.
