Mary DeBerry (3-26-14) service 3-29-14

Mary Elizabeth DeBerry, 88, of Shiloh, died Wednesday, March 26, at Savannah Health Care and Rehabilitation Center. She was born in Hardin County, the daughter of the late Joe Ben and Maude Sowell Jordan. She was united in marriage to A. W. DeBerry Jr., who preceded her in death.

Mrs. DeBerry worked as a waitress at Hagy’s Catfish Hotel Restaurant. She was a member of Michie Primitive Baptist Church.
She is survived by two sons, Larry DeBerry and Keith DeBerry, both of Shiloh; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a sister, Joan Churchwell of Michie.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a great-grandson, Carter Taylor; a sister, Wilma Ross and two brothers, J. B. Jordan and Lilburn Jordan.

Services were held in Savannah on March 29 with Rick Taylor officiating. Burial followed at Shiloh Methodist Church Cemetery in Shiloh.
