Martha Jane Foster Ricketts, 59, of Savannah, died Thursday, April 17, in Jackson. She was born in Alcorn County, Miss., the daughter of Harry Leander Foster and Martha Pearl Loyd Prater. She was united in marriage to Ronald Ricketts who preceded her in death.

She had worked at Brown Shoe Company in Waynesboro.

In addition to her parents she is survived by her sons, Michael Shane Risner of Crump and Carlton Gene Risner of Savannah; three grandchildren; brothers, Timothy Dewayne Prater, Connie H. Prater Jr. and Allen Kirk Prater, all of Clifton and a half-sister, Glenda Prater Nichols of Columbia.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her stepfather, Connie H. Prater Sr.
