Marilyn Thomasson Marilyn Frances Crotts was born Sept. 8, 1953, to Mavis Stanfill and J Porter Crotts. She was united in marriage to Robert Lane Thomasson on June 17, 1975. Marilyn was co-owner and manager of Wharf Restaurant for 25 years. She was currently employed as office manager and purchasing agent for Appalachian Pipeline Contractors of Hendersonville,Tenn. In addition to her parents and husband, she is survived by a daughter, Staci Thomasson Harris and husband James; son Paul Joseph Thomasson; three grandchildren, Alec and Tori Harris, and Lindsey Stevens; three brothers, Bobby A. Crotts of Hendersonville, Tenn., Jimmy L. Crotts of Savannah, Kenneth D. Crotts and wife Donna Milligan Crotts of Morris Chapel; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. Marilyn enjoyed life and was a friend to all who knew her. She was happiest when spending time with family and friends and was extremely proud of all her grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by all. Her wishes were to send donations in lieu of flowers to her favorite charities: Shriners Children’s Hospital or to the Darryl Worley Foundation supporting the Hardin County Cancer Treatment Center.
