Marie “Tootsie” Smith Bramhall, 98, of Memphis, died Friday, June 3. She was born in Hardin County, the daughter of the late Hal and Minnie Myrtle Irvin Smith.
She was united in marriage to Charles Deyo Bramhall, who preceded her in death. She was a secretary for Cleo Wrap and a member of Cherokee Baptist Church, both in Memphis.
Mrs. Bramhall is survived by her son, Mark Alan Bramhall of Memphis; four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Janet Elaine Strube; sister, Robbie Jerrolds and Imogene Hosea; and brothers, Jim Alfred Smith, R.D. Smith, and Ray C. Smith.
Services will be held today (Thursday), June 9, 11 a.m., at Turkey Creek Union Church in Savannah, with Barbara McCoy officiating. Burial will follow at Neill Cemetery in Savannah.
