Manuel Cleveland Pipkin, 87, of Scotts Hill, died Monday, July 14, in Franklin, Tenn.
He was born in Henderson County, son of the late Louis E. and Minnie Claire Barber Pipkin.
Mr. Pipkin was a U.S. veteran, retired teacher and Shelter Insurance agent. He was Baptist in belief.
He is survived by his wife, Erma Jean Miller Pipkin; son, Jeff Pipkin; two daughters, Mitzie Brasher and Michelle Redmond; one brother, Sam Pipkin; one sister, Mary Utley; and seven grandchildren.
Services were held Wednesday, July 16, in the chapel of Pafford Funeral Home in Scotts Hill with Lloyd Blankenship officiating. Burial was in Prospect Cemetery.
