Louise Rainey (1-23-14) No service

Louise A. Rainey, “Susie,” 80 years old, residing with her son Jerry in Nashville, passed away at 6 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 23, at the Summit Medical Center in Hermitage after an extended illness. She was born Aug. 16, 1933, in Marked Tree, Ark., and moved to Savannah where she lived her childhood and most of her adult life. While in Savannah, she worked in the local garment factories. Louise was a kind and generous person and will be missed by those who knew and loved her.

Louise survivors include her son, Jerry Rainey of Nashville, her sister Laura Horne of Simpsonville, SC, her brother Douglas Tidwell of Collierville, and grandson Samuel Rainey of Nashville.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Irene Tidwell and her son Danny Rainey.
