Loren “Gabby” Snarr, 92, of Crump, died Monday, May 5, in Savannah. He was born in Clermont, Fla., the son of the late Earl Cherokee and Flozzie Gazelle Patrick Snarr.
Mr. Snarr was a businessman in Big Pine Key, Fla. He served his country in the United States Army Air Corp, where he was a fighter pilot in World War II.
He is survived by two daughters, Patricia Norris and Susan Grisham; four stepsons, Tom, Jerry, Jack and Bobby Barnett; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Martin Snarr.
Services were held Thursday, May 8, at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Eric Smith officiating. Burial followed at Mountain View Cemetery in Savannah.
