Lonnie “Lonzo” Roland (1-16-22) service 1-20-22

Lonnie “Lonzo” Prett Roland, 76, of Adamsville, died on Sunday, Jan. 16, in Savannah.

He was born in McNairy County, Tennessee, the son of the late Prett and Hassie Bell Inman Roland.

Mr. Roland worked in construction doing drywall and sheet rock.

He is survived by his son, Greg Roland of Savannah; daughters, Lana Roland of Iowa and Stacie Ray of Savannah; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Billy Joe Roland; a grandson; and seven great-grandchildren.

Services were held on Thursday, Jan. 20, at Shackelford Funeral Directors of Adamsville with Jody Copeland and Melissa Roland officiating. Burial followed in Good Hope Cemetery at Adamsville.
