Linda Plunk

Linda Kay Hill Plunk, of Adamsville, was born in Bethel Springs on April 14, 1949, the daughter of the late Velmer Ezra and Ruth AltiaTeague Hill.

On March 2, 1968, she was united in marriage to Buddy Jearl Plunk, who survives.

Mrs Plunk was a video store owner. She loved her family, liked sewing, cooking and knitting. She was Pentecostal in belief.

She departed this life on Thursday, Oct. 21, at the McNairy County Regional Hospital in Selmer, at the age of 61 years, 6 months and 7 days.

In addition to her husband, Buddy of Adamsville, she is survived by two daughters, Amy Lynn Plunk Reeves of Adamsville and Terecia Kay Plunk Crewse of Alexander City, Ala.; and two sons, Mark Anthony Plunk and Buddy Joe Plunk, both of Adamsville; eight grandchildren; two sisters, Patricia Ann Griswell of Selmer and Patsy Ruth Hill of Savannah; three brothers, Neal Hill and Ricky Velmer Hill, both of Lewisburg, Tenn., and Roy D. Hill of Selmer.

Mrs. Plunk was also preceded in death by one grandchild, Willow Leif Plunk.

Services were held on Saturday, Oct. 23, at 3 p.m., at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Jerry Gibbs officiating. Burial was in the Crump Cemetery at Crump, Tenn.
