Linda Mae Holland, 68, of Savannah, died on Tuesday, Sept. 24. She was born in Savannah, the daughter of the late Turner and Ida Francis Hill. She was united in marriage to Kenneth Ray Holland, who preceded her in death.
Mrs. Holland was a homemaker and, at one time, a member of Piney Grove Church in Piney Grove, Ala. and a member of The Church in Savannah.
Services were held on Thursday, Sept. 26 at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Larry Vandiver and Robert Gilchrist officiating. Burial followed at the Evergreen Cemetery in Florence, Ala.
She is survived by her children, Ricky Ray Hill of Muscle Shoals, Ala., Arlen Dale Holland of Central, Ala., Tina Mae Richardson of Florence, Ala. and Kenneth Dwayne Holland of Savannah; four siblings, Jimmy Hill of Savannah, Ruby Martin of Nashville, Jackie Sutton and Joel Hill, both of Gary, Ind.; eleven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by six brothers, Glen Hill, Stanley Hill, Larry Hill, Billy Hill, Donnie Hill and Ronnie Hill; and one great-grandchild.
