Leroy Chandler, 93, of Beech Bluff, Tenn., died on Monday, Sept.16, at the Jackson Madison County General Hospital in Jackson, Tenn. He was born in Adamsville, to the late George and Ethel Patterson Chandler. He was united in marriage to Betty
Joyce Brown Chandler, who survives.

He served in the U.S. Army during WWII. He was a member of Beech Bluff Baptist Church.

Services were held on Thursday, Sept. 19, at 2 p.m. at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Charlie Carothers officiating. Burial followed in the Memory Gardens of Hardin County.

In addition to his wife, Betty Joyce Brown Chandler, he is survived by two step-daughters, Janie Brasfield of Savannah and Bobbie Doran of Jackson and two step-grandchildren.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his two sisters, Orie and Dovie Chandler.
