Leon Enlo Ivey Leon Enlo Ivey, age 74, died Wednesday, Oct. 24, at Maury Regional Medical Center in Columbia, Tenn. He was the son of the late Haywood Ivey and Vannie Cole Ivey. Mr. Ivey was a native of Decaturville, Tenn., and moved with his family to Hardin County in 1952. He was a retired teacher with the Maury County Board of Education, teaching math and science for 22 years at Columbia Central High School. He was an active member of Williamsport United Methodist Church. Graveside services were conducted Saturday, Oct. 27, at the Williamsport Cemetery with Rev. Donna Higginbotham officiating. Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Susan Kinzer Ivey, of Columbia; one daughter, Melissa Bassham of Columbia; two sons, Eric Ivey of Columbia and Stephen Ivey of Murfreesboro; one sister, Edna Duke of Franklin; one brother, Philip Ivey of Mt. Juliet; six grandchildren.
