Kimberly Star Banks Wardlow Parsons, of Adamsville, departed this life on Wednesday, Sept. 26, at the age of 44 years, 11 months and 30 days.

She was born in Hardin County on Sept. 27, 1973, the daughter of Shirley Davis Banks and the late James Banks. On Nov. 17, 2007, she was united in marriage to Barry Laine Parsons, who survives.

Kimberly was a former first responder and fireman. She enjoyed plants and landscaping. Kimberly loved life and loved horses, going camping, rock hunting and being outdoors. But most of all she loved her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Barry Parsons of Adamsville; children, Nicki Wardlow and Magan Wardlow, both of Adamsville, and Dillon Wardlow of Savannah; grandchildren, Nevaeh Irons, Landen Wardlow, Brayden Wardlow, Aiden Pulley, Josiah Pulley and Abigail Jones; mother, Shirley Banks of Adamsville; grandmother, Lela Duboise Davis; sisters, Pam Banks and Angie Barnett and husband Scottie; brother, Michael Banks and wife Tiffanie; nieces and nephews, James Morris, Slater Morris, David Bates, Holly Artis, Andrea Artis, Dakota Banks, Michaela Banks, Brock Stone and Legend Banks; and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.

In addition to her father, Kimberly was preceded in death by her grandparents, Carrie Hooper, Morris Banks and Loyd Davis; great-grandparents, Hattie Maddox and Wiley Duboise; and a special cousin, Melvin Davis.

Services were held on Sunday, Sept. 30, at 1 p.m., at Christian Assembly United Pentecostal Church in Adamsville with Tristan Pickens and Robert Griswell officiating. Burial followed in Mt. Hermon Cemetery at Savannah.
