Kaye Davison Plunk, 69, of Savannah, passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 27. She was born in Savannah, on Aug. 19, 1955, the daughter of the late Jim Davison and Artie Blanche Caperton Davison.
On Nov. 21, 1992, she was united in marriage to her loving husband Ricky Plunk who survives.
Kaye formerly worked at Aqua Glass Corporation but mostly worked as a registered dental assistant for various dental offices throughout her 30 plus year career. Kaye was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in the Olivet Community. She enjoyed antique hunting, attending car shows with her 1970 Ford Mustang, vacationing in Gatlinburg, camping at Natchez Trace Resort Campground, and spending her time spoiling her twin grandsons.
Kaye is survived by her husband Ricky Plunk of Savannah, Tennessee; one son, Kerry Phillips (Cynthia) of Savannah, Tennessee; one sister, Donna Bevis of Savannah, Tennessee; twin grandsons Brayden and Bryce Phillips; one brother-in-law Dwayne Plunk of Bethel Springs, Tennessee; and a very special friend Mrs. Dorothy “Dot” Qualls of Savannah, Tennessee.
In addition to her parents Kaye was preceded in death by her sister, Elaine Davison Brewer.
Memorial services were held on Friday, Aug. 30, at Calvary Baptist Church in Savannah, with Patrick Godwin officiating.
