Kaye Bell Karen "Kaye" Bell, 63, of Savannah, died Wednesday, Dec. 14, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital, Jackson, Tenn. She was born in Savannah, the daughter of Betty R. Thompson and the late Cleophas Cherry. Mrs. Bell had worked at Kentucky Fried Chicken and was currently employed at Kroger Supermarket where she had worked for 5 years. She was a member of the Newtown Church of Christ in Savannah. Services were held on Saturday, Dec. 17, at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Bobby Clifford officiating. Burial followed in the Savannah Cemetery. In addition to her mother, Betty Thompson, she is survived by four sisters, Mary Jean Thompson, Demetral Thompson, Nancy Love, all of Savannah, and Shelia Bailey of Jackson, Tenn.; three brothers: Stevie Thompson, Julius Cherry and Robert L. Cherry, all of Savannah; nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Garonski "Ski Baby" Goodlow and Bobby Thompson.
