Jimmy Ray Cossey (12-2-14) service 12-5-14

Jimmy Ray Cossey departed this life on Tuesday, Dec. 2. He was born on Sept. 13, 1959, in Poinsett County, Arkansas, to Hartie Elson and Ellawee Marie Weston Cossey.
Mr. Cossey was employed as a cabinet builder at C Con Metals and before that was a long haul truck driver. He enjoyed watching NASCAR and sports, especially football and wrestling.
Jimmy is survived by two sons, Preston Cossey and his wife, Leslie, of Savannah and Jonathan Cossey of Harvest, Alabama; one sister, Patsy Benson and her husband, Danny, of Florence, Alabama; four grandchildren, Noah Cossey, Kaile Cossey, Jamison Cossey and Leah Cossey.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by four brothers, Charles Cossey, Waymon Cossey, Tommy Cossey and Bobby Cossey.  
A memorial service was held on Friday, Dec. 5, at 3 p.m., at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah.
